Officially confirmed: These Motorola smartphones will receive Android 14\nMotorola has finally officially confirmed which of its smartphones will get the update to Android 14. The company’s software support period is comparatively short, but at least newer smartphones such as the Edge 40 Neo, the Razr 40 Ultra and the Lenovo ThinkPhone will receive the update.\nHannes Brecher (translated by Jacob Fisher), Published 🇩🇪 🇨🇳 …\n 🇪🇸 🇵🇹 🇮🇹 🇳🇱 🇵🇱 🇫🇷 \nSmartphone AndroidGoogle Pixel 8 and the Samsung Galaxy S24 are set to receive seven major Android updates, but Motorola’s update support is nowhere near as generous as some of its competitors. Even expensive business devices such as the Lenovo ThinkPhone will only receive three major Android updates and four years of security patches. \nMidrange smartphones such as the Moto G54 5G even only receive one major Android update – no comparison to competitors such as the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, which will receive four Android updates and five years of security patches. For this reason, the list of Motorola smartphones receiving Android 14 is relatively short. The manufacturer has now confirmed that at least the Razr 2022, the Razr 40 and the Razr 40 Ultra will receive the update, as will the Edge 30 and Edge 40 series. \nIn the midrange, Android 14 will only be available for the Moto G14, the Moto G23, the Moto G53 and G54, the Moto G73 and the Moto G84; older models are not included. Motorola has not yet confirmed a timetable for the rollout of the update. It is possible that the list will be expanded to include individual smartphones in the coming months. To date, Motorola has confirmed Android 14 for the following smartphones: \nMotorola Razr \n
Motorola Edge \n
Moto G \n

- Lenovo ThinkPhone
