Apple Intelligence (ApInt)

Apple’s approach is not AI for AI’s sake, Embedding it into every product with personal context and privacy. New Architecture, Siri, and

Siri AI

New AI abiilites powered by Google. More cabaple, more conversational, more intelligent. There is a dedicated Siri app. Visual Intelligence that is fluid and intuitive. Ask questions that requre current world knowledge. Develop interactions with iOS, macOS, and iPadOS apps.

Includes Awareness to show location(s) to where you are. Demo show Siri looking into your Personal Context and public knowledge, Siri AI makes a recommendation. Siri AI can be given tasks to execute that require more feedback.

Siri AI’s vocie can be customised for pace, cadence, and more. Dictation is improved too that extend to CarPlay and AirPods. This enable more conversations — feedback in a document, in apps, or via the dedicated app. Even directly from Spotlight.

Siri AI is embedded into every Apple platform — iOS, macOS, iPadOS, watchOS. Siri AI hss Continuity — synced and encrypted via iCloud.

Visual Intelligence is integrated into the camera. Split a bill, get ingredients, nutritional information, Even how to pack a suitcase. Siri AI can assume your context depending on the recipient or past conversations. Apple Intelligence helps with proofreading, even in 3rd-party apps.

ApInt in Apps

In Safari, organise by topic. Page monitoring with Notify Me for page changes. Privacy first. Tailored content with Describe an Extension. Passwords get improved with agentic workflows (like updating weak passwords).

ApIntel Suggestions in Mall and Messages. Calendar get better handling and understanding your Personal Context. Home App gets summaries of camera videos and a text summary. Video description summaries can be searched. Supported cameras get 4K. There is more automation in Shortcuts by building via description. It will build the automation for you by understanding the interactions as needed.

More capabilities with Image Playground. Create what you want, apply them to Messages, documents, Mail, all via the Playgrounds API.

Photos can be enhanced while respecting the originals; Clean Up, Extend, and Reframe. Better Spatial models, generation, and

Siri AI and ApInt is limited to currently supported model. Rollout is limited to the US. EU and China as still gong through a path forward (EU) or regulatory review (China)

Each day is different, so parents get to set the various days: school days vs. weekends.

Platform Improvements

There are Design changes to Liquid Glasss, like a slider to customization. New UI elements, wraps, and icons. Optimisations include memory and speed. Faster loading apps, network syncs (for iOS and macOS). A new CPU scheduler can improve old phones performance (back to iPhone 11) .

Better transitions from Mobile to WiFi with smarter connectivity management. More status indications of whats happening and when it happens. Another ares is Search. Spotlight is rebuilt with a new indexing architecture — for speed, stability, and content management. Mail search gets better ranking to improve results and discovery.

Photos –> Shared Albums added full resolutions. Better coverage for Menstrual Cycles. Persionalisation for AirPods EQ. New Aerials with more details, contouring, and reflections.


Tim Cook opens the pre-recorded show. WWDC is about pushing the limits of what’s possible, improving interoperatblity, and empowering developers.
