Ford Recalls of Various Models
Ford has issued a number of recalls of vehicle makes and models including:

2023 Bronco Sport, 2023-2024 Maverick, 2023 Mustang Mach-E: Windshield Wiper Motor May Fail
Ford is recalling certain 2023-2024 Maverick, 2023 Ford Bronco Sport, and 2023 Mustang Mach-E vehicles. The front windshield wiper motor may become inoperative, causing the wipers to fail. An estimated 37,371 vehicles are included in this recall.
According to documents submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the supplier determined that the root cause was failure to correctly apply a sealer between the gear cover and gear housing.
As of July 15, 2024, Ford is aware of 81 global warranty reports with confirmed water intrusion into the wiper motor. The automaker is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to the issue.
Dealers will inspect and replace the windshield wiper motor as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Aug. 26, 2024.
2022 Ford Maverick: Loss of Drive Power from Undetected Low Battery
Ford is recalling certain 2022 Maverick pickup trucks previously repaired under recall number 24V-267. Affected vehicles may have received an incomplete repair during the previous recall, according to NHTSA documents.
