  • Pricing and Availability: The R2 starts at $45,000, with reservations now open on Rivian’s website. Deliveries are scheduled for the first half of 2026, with production taking place at Rivian’s facility in Normal, Illinois, before transitioning to a future production site in Georgia.

As an additional delight, Rivian CEO Robert “RJ” Scaringe, also announced the 2027 R3 and R3X, smaller and rugged SUV to the R1S and R2.
