Waymo issued a voluntary recall of 3,791 robotaxis across its entire US fleet after a software defect allowed vehicles to drive into flooded roadways rather than stopping. A San Antonio robotaxi was swept into Salado Creek on 20 April. The recall is Waymo’s third in two years.
